A couple of things I read yesterday in different places but which linked together in my mind.

We need to be reminded of the amazing truth that God entered into human time and space in the person of Jesus. Two very different quotes – from Plato, “Never can man and God meet” and from CS Lewis “The central miracle asserted by Christians is the Incarnation. They say that God became man”
Nobody is perfect except Jesus and you’re not him. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” ^{John 16:33}
