For a couple of years and more I have been using Bible reading notes “Bible Alive”, a Catholic production. Initially I used them because they were available but I have continued to us them as they do often prompt me to think of things from a different viewpoint.
A few days ago I read the attached. With many things that are going on in the world and in the UK the caused me to think. The news media have, it seems to me, been dominated by judgement and vengeance. I am keeping away from social media but suspect that this will reflect similar views.
Tow big things arounds judgment have been to the front of my mind these last days.
- We are quick to judge people and organisations even though we know that ‘all judgment belongs to God and God alone’.
- The question around the final judgment are not answered in this article but it does provide a real stimulus for thought and prayer.
