Occasional thoughts

I have just been speaking with my brother on the phone and part of our conversation was around the stat of the world with conflicts wherever we look. I was reminded of some words from the late Dr Martin Luther King Jr who said “I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear”. This quote encapsulates his philosophy of nonviolent resistance, emphasizing that love, not hate, is the most powerful force for social change. He believed that hate is destructive and ultimately self-defeating, while love offers a path to reconciliation and justice.
